Step 1
First, move the "on/remote/off" toggle switch located on the front of the remote receiver box to the OFF position.
Step 2
Then, push in the battery tray located beneath the "on/remote/off" toggle switch. The battery tray will release, and can then be removed from the remote receiver box.
Step 3
Locate the battery cover on the back of the battery tray. Then slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow to remove it from the battery drawer. This will expose the four AA batteries in the drawer.
Remove the old batteries and replace with the new ones, being careful to insert them in the proper position by following the battery directional arrows.
Step 4
Slide the battery drawer lid in place and insert the battery drawer back into the receiver box. The drawer will snap back in place once inserted fully.
Step 5
Then turn the "on/remote/off" toggle switch back to the "remote" (middle) position.
Step 6
Now, the batteries can be replaced in the hand held remote by sliding the battery compartment cover off, which is located on the back side of the hand held remote.
Once the cover is removed, the three AAA batteries can be replaced. Be sure to place the batteries in the proper position as indicated by the directional arrows. Once the cover is in place, you are now ready to use the remote.
Note: It is critical that the batteries in the hand held remote are replaced after the batteries are replaced in the remote receiver, so that the hand held remote will synchronize with the remote receiver.
If your remote does not work....
Check the "on/remote/off" toggle switch position on the remote reciever to be sure the switch is in the "remote" postion.
If the remote is still not working, recheck the battery positions in both the reciever and hand held remote to be sure they agree with the directional arrows.
